Privacy Policy

Project Us is built for real friends and family. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use private messages or personal posts to build an advertising profile.

Information needed to run your account

Project Us collects information you choose to provide, such as your email address, display name, username, date of birth, profile details, privacy settings, posts, comments, reactions, messages, albums, life events and uploaded media. Date of birth is used for age-based safety protections and is not shown as a public profile field.

Project Farm data

Project Farm stores game progress such as crops, timers, Farm Coins, moves, fields, decorations, achievements, friend help and market activity. Owner Farm Analytics uses totals and game events to test and balance the game. Fake owner-test purchases are labeled separately from any future real purchase. Project Us does not store bank or full card information in the game.

Usage and technical information

We record limited technical and usage events such as anonymous visitor/session identifiers, page or feature use, signup steps, device/browser basics, coarse region/country when available, and privacy-safe error information. This helps us understand where the site fails or where people abandon signup. We do not intentionally place passwords, private message bodies, post bodies, phone numbers, or precise GPS coordinates into normal analytics.

Location discovery

Nearby discovery is optional. If you choose it, your device sends one location reading securely to the Project Us backend, where it is immediately reduced to a broad approximate area. The exact coordinates are not stored, placed in analytics, or shown to other members. Project Us does not keep a live GPS trail. Teen accounts cannot enable nearby discovery.

Reports and moderation

If you report a post, comment, photo, video, message, profile, album or life event, the specific reported content and your report details may be shown in the owner-only moderation queue so the report can be reviewed. Uploaded media may also be processed by an automated safety provider when that feature is enabled. Automated safety results are used to pass, hold for review, or block media; they do not automatically punish an account.

Service providers

Project Us uses service providers to operate the site, including hosting, authentication/database, email delivery and media storage services. Those providers process the data necessary to provide their services. Project Us may also use Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch for image-safety classification when automatic media moderation is enabled.

Account control

You can change privacy and discoverability settings in Project Us. You can request/download an export of the data tied to your account and can delete your account from Settings. Some limited security, moderation or legal records may be retained when necessary to prevent abuse, comply with law, or preserve a valid safety report.

Children and teens

Project Us is for people age 13 and older. Teen accounts receive stricter discovery, messaging and nearby-location protections. The real-money Project Farm store remains disabled during owner testing; purchase permissions and parental protections will be reviewed before it opens.

Contact

Privacy or safety concerns can be submitted through Project Us reporting tools. A dedicated privacy contact address will be added before broad public launch.
